Getting young people excited about composite structures

CompositesNL came to visit us and we showed them how we get students and young professionals excited about composites and technology! 

Together with students from the HAN University of Applied Sciences, we are developing the HAN Solarboat, with the aim of making young people enthusiastic about composite constructions. For many students, this is the first real introduction to composite materials. In the beginning it takes a bit of getting used to and exploring, but ultimately when it is understood what is possible with composite materials new ideas will emerge.

We are proud of our collaboration with the Sustainable Electrical Energy Center of Expertise and HAN University of Applied Sciences. We are looking forward to next year’s racing season!
