Vizor USV platform enters operations
Vizor, Qconcepts Uncrewed Surface Vessel (USV) is operational and actively undergoing trials in real-life environments. Developed entirely in-house, from structural design to propulsion, system integration and assembly, the platform is delivering strong performance and reliability in a range of maritime conditions.
Designed for fast, efficient deployment, the Vizor USV supports a wide variety of surveillance, monitoring and control tasks. The current configuration is optimized for inshore operations, including emergency response, port and asset monitoring and environmental observation.
With a robust yet lightweight composite hull, integrated control systems and modular payload space, the vessel strikes a balance between agility and endurance. Extensive testing has demonstrated its stable handling, sharp responsiveness and efficient power usage, even under challenging conditions. It is purpose-built to combine extended low-speed loitering for observation or data collection with rapid bursts of speed and efficient long-range transits, capitalizing on hydrofoil technology to significantly extend operational range.
Ready for deployment
The system is available to be customized to specific tasks by organizations seeking a proven, scalable solution for autonomous or remote-operated operations. Sensor configurations, communication systems and control interfaces can be tailored to mission-specific needs, including environmental data collection, such as water quality monitoring, wildlife observation and pollution tracking.
An offshore version is under development, featuring long-range connectivity and system upgrades for smart surveillance of offshore assets, such as wind farms, subsea infrastructure and remote infrastructure.
What’s next
Current test campaigns focus on advanced navigation, autonomy and multi-sensor data handling. We’re now opening up to partners who want to explore new use cases, run joint trials, or bring next-gen capabilities to the field.
