In 2013 Rowing Innovation and Sports Engineering (RISE) from Delft started developing the world’s first quadruple scull (four person rowing boat) on hydrofoils.
In August 2015 the scull made her first filing runs.
Activities within this project were support with the design and analysis activities and the production of two hydrofoils.
The products are seamless, produced in a 1-hit production process.
In 2017 the design of a single scull – a one-person rowing boat – was presented byTeam-Rise.
QConcepts took on the production of the hydrofoils for this scull as well.
This hydrofoil set features a trim-able foil controlled by a want – a mechanical height sensor.
